The India Node for neuroinformatics (INNNI) was established in 2010. The Node is primarily engaged in  teaching and workshop activities. At present the Node Representative is Prasun K. Roy, Indian Institute of Technology, Varanasi.

The Node regularly participates in mentoring in Google Summer of Code.
