Join the INCF community

The INCF community currently stretches over four continents. Everyone is welcome to participate!

INCF's working model for bringing neuroinformatics forward focuses on a set of Strategic Action Areas, with very broad community engagement via Special Interest Groups. These are national and international groups that interact both online, through our collaboration platform, and in person at INCF events. INCF will assist this process with community and funding matchmaking, and allocate seed funding to project proposals that address demonstrable neuroscience use cases and have strong community support within INCF’s Strategic Action Areas.

How to find collaborations within the INCF community

Specific countries

For collaborations within specific countries, Community Engagement Officer Malin Sandström can put you in touch with INCF's Nodes - they function as hubs for their respective national communities.

Matchmaking help

Looking for a specific skill set for a new project? Contact the INCF Secretariat's Scientific Officer Mathew Abrams or Community Engagement Officer Malin Sandström for help with individual matchmaking.

Collaborative groups

Join our CollaborationSpace on the Trellis platform, developed by AAAS.

Join us on GitHub

Many software projects from INCF and our community are on GitHub. Our GitHub organization page is a good starting point.

Meet us at events

You can meet INCF representatives and community interest groups at INCF events, such as the yearly INCF congress of Neuroinformatics and the Nodes Workshop and we are present at a range of neuroscience conferences every year. Connect with us!

Mailing list

Open positions, upcoming meetings and announcements of new resources can be posted to the neuroinformatics community mailing list hosted by INCF.

Publish your poster

There is an INCF channel on f1000, where you can publish your neuroinformatics poster for free.
