About this workshop
This workshop will introduce you to the core concepts of cloud computing and the foundational knowledge required for understanding how to leverage cloud computing in neuroscience research. Participants will receive hands-on experience with the leading cloud service Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. In addition, the workshop will introduce participants to a selection of resources that will aid their implementation of cloud computing in their research and end with a capstone project.

Day 0 General introduction to cloud computing and why you should you use it
- Pre-recorded lecture will be made available to participants 1 week before the start of the course
Day 1 Introduction to cloud computing with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- 1.5 hour lecture
- 1 hour interactive session
Day 2 Introduction to cloud computing with Google Cloud
- 1.5 hour lecture
- 1 hour interactive session
Day 3 Introduction to cloud computing with Microsoft Azure
- 1.5 hour lecture
