David Willshaw, key INCF community member, receives Valentino Braitenberg Award

On behalf of INCF and its community we would like to congratulate Professor David Willshaw (University of Edinburgh) who received the 2016 Valentino Braitenberg Award in computational neuroscience.

Professor Willshaw has been a key member of INCF since its founding, serving as a UK representative on the iNCF Governing Board and in the INCF network, and founding the INCF Training Committee. 

The award is named after German computational neuroscience pioneer Prof. Dr. Valentino Braitenberg (1926, Bozen - 2011, Tübingen) and will be given out for the third time at the Bernstein Conference in Germany in September.
