Structural Lexicon Task Force (SLTF)
This Task Force will help shape the technical development and population of the NeuroLex (http://neurolex.org/wiki/Main_Page) with a focus on the gross anatomy, cells, synapses, and connections in the adult brain of four species (mouse, rat, macaque monkey, and human).
In preparation for the 2010 INCF Congress in Kobe, we hope to provide both visual and text descriptions of pan-mammalian structures, based on the expert consensus input of Task Force members. The visualization of brain structures is aided via the Scalable Brain Atlas, which will provide pictorial representations of several brain atlases, including the Waxholm Space, and which will be interoperable with the NeuroLex.
