New journal: Frontiers in Neuroinformatics
A new specialty journal, Frontiers in Neuroinformatics, has recently been launched by the open-access Frontiers Journal series supported by the Frontiers Research Foundation.
The journal receives submissions from all areas of neuroinformatics and aims to catalyze advances, support novel methods for organization of data and tool sharing, and facilitate use of tools that will support neuroscience in the information age.
Frontiers in Neuroinformatics is part of a tier system, a novel invention in science publishing in which articles considered exceptionally socially relevant and scientifically excellent are selected from various first-tier specialty journals, rewritten to appeal to a greater audience and published in the second-tier journal, Frontiers in Neuroscience.
