Research descriptionMy interests now lie in managing INCF's Programs and overseeing the strategic alignment of our Programs with INCF's mission and infrastructural developments. My previous research background in UK and Canada was in visual cognitive neuroscience, specifically computational modelling of visual attention and neuroimaging (diffusion tensor imaging). My aim was to use a combination of computational and neuroimaging techniques to understand the neural processes and cortical networks related to vision, visual attention and eye movements in health and disease. Before becoming a neuroscientist, I worked in computing and informatics on large e-Government projects in the UK. |

QuoteGlobal integration of neuroscientific research efforts and data is the route to real progress in understanding the brain, which should be a key mission of mankind in the 21st century. |
