My lab develops open source imaging informatics software.

Research description

Dr. Marcus is an Assistant Professor of Radiology and the director of the Neuroinformatics Research Group and the Neuroimaging Informatics and Analysis Center at Washington University. Dr. Marcus has expertise in neuroinformatics, including the development of data management systems, ontologies, and visualization tools. His laboratory develops and supports the XNAT imaging informatics platform, a widely used system for managing imaging and related data. Dr. Marcus is a vocal advocate for open data sharing, which he practices through the OASIS, Human Connectome, and XNAT Central projects
