With the amount of neuroscience data and tools available through the web increasing astronomically, the need for integration across broad types of neuroscience data has become increasingly important. The complexities of this integration challenge will promote advances in nomenclature, ontology, atlasing, modeling and metadata description. This social will the highlight the integration of genetic and genomic resources with other neuroinformatics resources in the service of furthering the understanding of normal development as well as pathological alterations.
