Additional information
This conference is organised with the Neurocomp initiative and aims to bring together the principal French protagonists in this area, whether or not they are French speakers. Computational neuroscience studies the mechanisms of calculation that are the basis of our cognitive capacities. This approach requires the constructive integration of a number of disciplines, from the neuron to behaviour, from the life sciences to software and hardware computer simulations by means of modelling. As in the previous editions, this conference offers an exchange place in which the goal is to support interdisciplinary collaborations between teams concerned with neuroscience, informatics, statistical physics and mathematics. The selected format this year is of a conference with the presence of five invited international lecturers, oral communications and poster sessions. A special issue of J Physiol Paris will follow the conference.
The conference will be preceded by a workshop on "Brain Computer Interfaces" held on the 5th of October pm. In the evening, a public conference will follow on the same subject.
